Culture is an overall lifestyle that is complex, abstract, and a growing and broad shared by a group of people and passed down from generation to generation. Many aspects of culture determines the communicative behavior. Social cultural elements are scattered and include many human social activities. While culture is a manifestation of the objects that were created by humans as cultural beings, in the form of behaviors and objects that are real, for example, patterns of behavior, language, equipment life, social organization, religion, art, etc. Which all of is intended to help sustain the lives of people in society. There is only one culture and a benchmark norms and values ​​around the world. The entry of foreign culture to Indonesia because one of them because of the crisis of globalization that poisons Indonesia. The effect of running very fast and involves many areas of life. Of course these effects will result in a very broad impact on the cultural system. So fast that foreign cultural influences lead to cultural shock, which is a state where people are not able to withstand the various cultural influences that come from the outside so that there is an imbalance in the society concerned. Foreign culture into Indonesia. Indonesia has always accepted by society without sifting through culturally appropriate for them. Therefore, the influence of foreign culture is very strong in Indonesia and will eliminate the original culture of Indonesia. We as a society must be smart in selecting Indonesian western culture and still maintain or use the native Indonesian culture.
Culture in Indonesia are many and varied. Therefore, we must uphold the culture which is owned by Indonesia. There are so many cultures that exist in Indonesia where different cultures can unite Indonesia. Through example miss world event held in Bali, we as a society have pride in Indonesia over the event, the culture in Indonesia introduced worldwide. Contestants who came from abroad were using clothes from various regions in Indonesia are very attractive and so luxurious. This is an event where Indonesian culture can uphold owned and introduce that Indonesia has many cultures that should not be claimed by another country. What's more culture in Indonesia is not only of traditional dress, but also custom homes, nature reserves, as well as traditional food owned by Indonesia. If we listen to the opening event of the Miss World on television some time ago, there was a unique and interesting phenomenon as well as amazed as we watched, it turns out that we have the traditional clothes of the 33 provinces was very beautiful to wear with different colors worn by the contestants of Miss World 2013. Indirectly, there is a feeling of awe and amazed at the people who turned out to have its own cultural diversity that is reflected through their traditional clothes. Of course this is interesting because the women of other countries with "voluntary" would wear these clothes when the event was held in Indonesia. Growing sense of nationalism when we proud and appreciate what we have. With this event, women from a variety of countries and cultures can aspire voice to fight for social and cultural changes in society that still views women as "trivial" . The thing to be a point of view is the first step we introduce to the world can be done through symbolization by introducing cultural order in Indonesia. Miss world candidates must be introduced by all owned by the Indonesian culture and their comments about the culture in Indonesia is very amazing where contestants is more culturally diverse Indonesia. Miss world event that had become counter now not truth. Surely we should be proud of themselves because in Indonesian culture has been introduced. Maybe if there is no event miss this world, maybe the whole world will not know that in Indonesia is a huge range of different cultures though but still unite the nation Indonesia. Although in Indonesia has had a variety of Indonesian culture but still can’t escape the influence of western culture, where culture is greatly influenced western culture in Indonesia. See the world miss this event we are required to be able to respect, protect and preserve the culture in Indonesia.

SUBJUNCTIVE

Subjunctive is a verb form that express a wish that doesn’t/didn’t happen or contrary to the fact. Subjunctive can be divided into: PRESENT SUBJUNCTIVE AND PAST SUBJUNCTIVE.
Subjunctive is usually preceeded by: if only (seandainya saja), wish (berharap), would rather (lebih suka), as if/as though (sepertinya/ seolah-olah).
Example          :
A.    Present Subjunctive
SUBJECT + VERB 2
FACT (SUBJECT + VERB 1)
Harapannya menggunakan bentuk dari Past tense (Verb 2) tetapi faktanya menggunakan bentuk dari Present Tense (Verb 1). Jika harapan + maka faktanya – atau sebaliknya.
If only I were a businessman.
I’m not a businessman. I am a teacher.
I wish that I met a my favorit teacher.
I don’t meet him.
I wish I could not come.
I come.
Example:
1.      If only I were rich, but I’m not rich.
2.      I wish I knew her hobby, but I don’t know.
3.      She isn’t at home, but I wish she was.
4.      She talks as if she knew everything, but she doesn’t know everything.
5.      Tasya would rather Desi arrived in here, but Desi doesn’t arrive in here.
6.      I wish it was very cold here, but it isn’t very cold.
7.      Simon wishes he finished his homework, but he doesn’t finish it.
8.      I wish I drove my car, but I don’t drive my car.
9.      That woman wishes she acted her perform, but she doesn’t act in her perform.
10.  They looked at me as if I was mad, but I am not mad.

B.     Past Subjunctive
SUBJECT + HAD + VERB 3
FACT (SUBJECT  + VERB 2)
Harapannya menggunakan bentuk dari Past Perfect tense (Had + Verb 3) tetapi faktanya menggunakan bentuk dari Past Tense (Verb 2). Jika harapan + maka faktanya – atau sebaliknya.
He looks tired as if he had worked hard.
He did not work hard.
Sia wished that she had not come late again.
She came late again.
Example:
1.      Ann sounded as if he had worried, but he did not worry.
2.      He looks as if he had needed a good rest, but he did not need a good rest.
3.      She was not busy but she behaved as if she had been busy.
4.      It smells as though someone had been smoking here but it hadn’t someone smoking here.
5.      He hadn’t studied for the test. I wish he had studied well for it.
6.      He had never went to Bali. He wish he had gone to Bali.
7.      Sara had walked with difficulty. She looked as if she had hurt her leg.
8.      Peter was extremely hungry and he had ate very quickly. He ate as if he had not eaten for a week.
9.      Cakra had not written the letter, I wish he had wrote the letter.
10.  I wish I had spoken English frequently, but I had not spoke English frequently.
