Context: On that night, rose ran toward the deck and look down the sea. She intends to commit suicide by plunging into the sea. Suddenly Jack Dowson come and save Rose. Then, Cal came withother guard ships were spotted Rose who fell along with Jack Dowson on the floor of the ship. Cal, who wakes Rose accuses Jack of has done something to Rose, but Rose told Cal that Jack had saved her and Cal gave Jack a gift because he has been save Rose.


1.      Cal       : Mr Lovejoy, I think $20 should do it.

Analysis:
In utterance 3-6 Cal stated that Rose upset with him and he asked what he should do to Rose but finally Cal knowing what should he do for saying thank you to Jack. Cal gave a prize of a dinner invitation tomorrow. Cal implicitly invites Jack because Cal didn’t want Rose angry and displeased because of him. The analysis of this part is just because Cal is an impatient and Cal take his floor directly.

In utterance 19-22 Cal knowing that Rose is listening melancholis music and he brought a diamond neklace’s box. A diamond neklace will give to Rose while the engagement gala next week but in utterance 22, the word BUT which it said Cal is contains element hurry. This thing because Cal didn’t want Rose falling in love with another person (Jack) so Cal given the diamond necklace at night. Cal implicitly for ambition is to get Rose. Cal take his floor directly.

In utterance 34,35 Cal said to Rose that they are royalty. 

In utterance 37 Cal said to Rose that there is nothing he couldn’t give Rose. Cal said all that so Rose knowing that Cal loves her but this sentences tell Rose for open her heart to Cal. This sentences implicitly that Rose doesn’t fall in love with Cal. The analysis of this part is just because Cal is an ambitious to get Rose.
